Each week we will explore a different art making technique in a creative learning environment. Projects
vary and techniques will change weekly. The projects change on an ongoing basis so children can
enrol in multiple sessions and continue to learn new mediums each week. (parent participation)
Capes, masks, wands and more. This is the ultimate dress-up class! From kings and queens to creative critters, each week you and your child will create a costume that they can take home and wear. Many different materials will be explored to make these fabulous costumes.
What do you get when you combine creative kids with some very exciting art projects? In this class we will tackle many crazy art techniques including plaster, painting techniques, sculpture and more! Please bring in a couple of old articles of clothing for our plaster experiment (old hats, shirts, shoes).

Hop on in and create Easter themed works of art and treasures in this super fun workshop. We will be using many different mediums including acrylic paint, clay, and much, much more! (Clay projects will be ready before Easter)
Create a new masterpiece each week while we explore multiple mediums. This class strongly promotes
creative individuality. Art projects will change on an ongoing basis so the possibilities are endless.
Mediums covered include acrylic painting, sculpture, printmaking, drawing, animation, mixed media and more!
Roll up your sleeves and create some amazing clay projects. Robyn is a professional sculptor and will
teach you many hand-building and sculptural techniques. We will tackle some fabulous summer projects
and students will be encouraged to create fabulous sculptures based on his or her interests. (Please
note: To allow for drying and firing time, sculptures will be ready for pick up approximately 2 weeks later)
Create some really fun wearable art pieces including tie-dyed clothing and beautiful unique jewellery creations using silver wire, glass beads, peacock feathers and more. Materials are included for each student including a shirt for tie-dying (Feel free to send extra clothing for dying. (100% cotton works best).
Young artists explore acrylic painting in this fun class. With Robyn’s help, each student will create a large acrylic painting based on his or her interests. Students will start to learn proper layering technique, brushstroke, colour mixing and more!
Cost of class includes all materials including a large stretched canvas. Class size is limited.
Create an incredible large acrylic painting during this 5 day workshop. This class combines painting
instruction with creative individuality. Each day a new technique will be explored and applied to the
painting. Optional mixed media techniques will also be taught including how to incorporate texture and
embellishments into the paint.
This specialty class focuses on several mediums and techniques which allow youth artists to explore art
at a more advanced level than most traditional art classes. In this class we will focus on each student’s
individuality, creativity, style and what inspires him or her. Mediums explored include acrylic painting,
sculpture, installation art, public art, drawing, mixed media, and more. Some projects are larger and
may take several weeks to complete. We will look at some art history and contemporary artists for
inspiration and then put our famous spin on it!
This acrylic painting focus class will emphasize proper painting technique balanced with some art history for inspiration and style demonstrations. To learn proper skills we will focus on specific subject matter with room for personal creativity; for example, still-life, landscape, portrait, wildlife etc. Students will work on a large scale stretched canvas’(approximately 2 ftx3 ft) during the 6 weeks. Cost of class includes all materials including a large stretched canvas. Class size is limited to 7 students. Please feel free to pack a snack or lunch)
This acrylic painting class focuses on abstract acrylic painting. Students explore new techniques each week through demonstrations and experimentation with multiple materials. We will look at art history for inspiration while each student enjoys their own unique style. Students will work on a large stretched canvas’ during the 4 weeks. (Includes all materials). Please dress for mess!
With Robyn's instructions, Teens will strengthen their personal artistic style while building skills in drawing, sculpture and painting. Projects will vary based on student’s individual creativity and classes will continue on an ongoing basis.
